From the editor:

Dear Wooden Bow Tiers and Friends,

Wooden Bow Tie To begin with we’re still having fun with our web site. More than 1360 visitors have touched base with us in about three months.

Wooden Bow Tie Due to some very remarkable karma we were able to get a super picture and story in the prestigious Connecticut Magazine. It’s on page 11 of the March edition. We owe a special thank you to IWBTC member Charley Monagan! Hope you see it.

Wooden Bow Tie New on the site

Andy Simonow our page designer keeps adding to our web site. Visitors now have the ability to leave a message on our guest book. There have been quite a few. We have kept the best and are leaving them there for the time being. One message came from new member Harry J. Berkley <Hank@wrbc.com> . He referred to the article in Connecticut Magazine and said ". . . immediately knew that I had to learn more. This will make a great gift for my bow tie wearing son!" Hamp Pratt MD said "I love my wooden bow tie. I never leave home without it!" We are going to be watching!! And then there’s Bill Robinson who said, "I believe the wooden bow tie is an idea whose time has arrived." He then asks for someone out there to give him a tie as a gift , ". . . to find out how you can brighten my life." Any takers?

Wooden Bow Tie New marketing

Also, a new toll free number  800-974-3557, has been added - new ties are pictured, and a secure credit card ordering system is in place. There are also new linkages enlarging our potential beyond Yahoo and Web Crawler. People are now increasingly getting on from all over the world.

Wooden Bow Tie New designs

New designs and materials are being tested and specialty carved ties such as a horse, elephant, two hands signing okay, daffodils, eyes, a French horn, initials, a ukulele with strings (worn on my last Marv’s Mike TV show when I interviewed a quartet from the Chorale Connecticut), bears, and - whatever.

When you visit our page again, leave a comment, request a brochure - and enjoy the music - the "Maple rag!" We are still looking for the proper retail establishment to test market our product. If you have any thoughts please let us know.

Hope you are wearing your IWBTC ties. Tell your friends!!!!

Happy Spring! Sincerely,

Marv
